Fantastic adventure where we got to view outstanding scenery, meet lovely people, eat amazing food, ride varied terrain and have the time of our life :)
I have todate used Vintage Rides for eight adventures and have enjoyed every adventure. Though I have used other companies I find the standard to be very high and very enjoyable.
A comment on your question of price. I am 34 years of age and an American. It is difficult for me and my spouse to secure two weeks off of work and the price, while very fair, is very steep for our age group. My wife and I are lucky in that we are both nurses so we have 12 hour shifts/can orient our schedules easier than others to get time off. Others like us (Americans in their late 20s/early 30s) will find affording this type of trip and getting the time off to take it near impossible. If they do decide to, it will be roughly a year or two in advance so that they can secure the time off of work. Other shift workers like us (EMS/ambulance, Fire, Police, Nurses) may find it easier to afford and take the time off needed for this type of trip but it will be difficult. My wife and I will DEFINITELY be taking more trips with Vintage, but we currently have no one else we can convince to go because of the investment of money and time. You may find that more Americans in our age group will go for shorter trips that are more affordable and nearer to home/less travel time to get to the start and then will convert to a higher sale later on because they see the value and can plan 1-2 years in advance.
Vintage Rides absolutely under-promised and over-delivered on this tour. From incredible homemade meals in private homes to the finest restaurants in the cities, from enjoying flawless twisties to challenging ourselves off-road. The group was great, Josh was incredible, and the whole experience was so much more than I ever imagined. I can't wait to do it all again in a new destination!

Very good trip with a good atmosphere between the team and a very good guide Deepak
Great trip, great friendly company it was our second trip with Vintage rides looking forward to the next adventure. The Amritsar extension was brilliant so was Marvi the guide. Well worth doing.
Great trip. Well organised. Along with Amritsar extension which was amazing and our guide Mavi was very knowledgeable and so helpful, making sure we were ok at all times. Well worth doing
The trip was fantastic and Tom was a very good leader. As always things don't go as planned, but Tom sorted it out with no fuss and was always ready to help with anything, even getting sweets for some local children for us.
I’ve already put it in.
It would be nice to have a more international group of travellers. For tours ending in Chennai, it's a must to visit the Royal Enfield plant
How do we get credited back the deposit on the bike damage?
We absolutely loved our trip through Kerala and Tamil Nadu on the Spices Route. With all of our luggage strapped to our bikes, a brilliant tour leader in Dinesh and an excellent RE trained mechanic in Atul, completed with myself and my wife, our little party of four bikes could not have had a better rambling adventure. Some sections of gnarly off road, sweeping switchbacks climbing from searing 100oF heat on the plains up to the balmy coolness of the Nilgiri mountains. Riding through the green velvety perfection of tea plantations, whilst stopping for fresh coconut water at the little roadsides - delightful. Cannot praise our guide and mechanic enough. We were immersed into the countryside, seeing very few westerners and getting what we hope was a truly authentic experience. Discussion led us to think on improvements, one of which could be to do the ride in the reverse direction. We undertook a nearly thousand mile journey clockwise. Towards the end we did some really long days on the plains in the heat and maybe getting them out of the way at the start, so that you end in the back waters with a last short day might be a lovely way to end it. It would not affect the experience of the riding. Just a thought. Regardless we had a fabulous time.
great fun, thanks
Baz our translator was excellent a true professional Can’t say enough about how wonderful he was
I am very satisfied with the trip. The culture, the ride, the food, Vintage ride personel, just everything!
Thank you Vintage Rides for slowing our time here, which is ever accelerating, down to where my time away felt like a multiple of the actuality. This I say due to the endless new experiences with my new friends. I think they call it an "Adventure". Paul.
Great adventure!
