Chiang Mai is at 310m altitude, the city has around 250,000 inhabitants and the old part of the center occupies a surface of 2.2 km2. No snow was there on Christmas day, only sun and a 25° temperature – perfect for a 25th of December. In Chiang Mai, there’s also 10 Royal Enfields, which have crossed almost 8,000 kms each. 36 riders, including 6 British and 3 Australians, blazed the Golden Triangle’s trails at the border of 3 countries: Thailand, Laos and Burma. Since the beginning of the season, Francois and Guillaume have tasted 52 pad thais – and surely as many Chang beers.
