Over the course of three days, you will get the chance to develop your riding skills on our private training grounds and put them into practice on Beaujolais’ hidden dirt tracks. This tour is great if you want to give yourself a challenge and hone your riding skills on a Royal Enfield Himalayan. Whether you go it alone or with a pillion, you will enjoy little-used off-road tracks and discover the heart of the French countryside. This training tour is available for riders with a Category A (unrestricted) motorcycle license. A thrilling three-day experience that will get you geared up for other tours across the world. YOUR FRENCH MOTORCYCLE TOUR 3 stages - 160 miles

D1 / Training on private ground

You’ll set off on your motorcycles to the training ground for a day full of theory that you will put into practice straight away. On the agenda: clearing obstacles, tackling bends, slow and fast riding, changing gears while standing up, etc. The workshops will be tailored to your needs and level. Expect an intensive day of training!

D2 / Exploration tour - 160 miles

We head off to discover this wonderful wine region and put what we learnt the day before into practice. We cross the 10 Beaujolais crus villages: Brouilly, Juliénas, Chiroubles, Morgon, Saint-Amour, etc. We continue our push north to the Rock of Solutré, taking forest tracks that were once used by wine merchants.

D3 / Exploration tour - 120 miles

We make the most of these challenging tracks and trails, exploring our history and stopping to chat with the locals we encounter on our way. What better way to discover this welcoming land than a trip to Montmelas Castle? We arrive in Genay and spend our last evening together reliving the most memorable parts of our three-day trip.

I’ve done the Stage moto off road in Beaujolais twice. A version 2 with a higher level instruction would be attractive and I’m sure many others would sign up too. It is a shame that you have discontinued your tour Sur les chemins d’une France oubliée. I would gladly sign up for that.

The route seemed a bit too long the second day, considering beginners are making a big effort constantly. At the same time, more than 1 day of training would have been beneficial to be able to practise the different techniques longer and receive more feedback.
