On dirt tracks and asphalt roads, discover the Provençal hinterland by crossing the Mercantour National Park to Sanremo. A classic motorcycle adventure perfect for novice riders who can progress throughout the tour either following our guide or using the GPS navigation device provided. With cicadas as your soundtrack, you’ll ride on stony tracks that cross olive groves, vineyards and oak groves and take you to Verdon’s mountain tracks until Vallo Alpino. You’ll dine in restaurants carefully selected by BAAK and sample traditional local dishes. As evening falls, expect a well-deserved rest in exceptional natural settings thanks to our portable glamping site. Our private chef will serve delicious meals that we’ll enjoy together around the campfire as we watch the sun set. We’ll sleep under the stars in the comfort of our luxury heated tents.
Welcome to Marseille! Your motorcycle adventure and our services start here. You have the afternoon free, so you can take this opportunity to visit the city. Overnight stay at a hotel.
After having breakfast at the hotel, we discover our rental scramblers prepared by BAAK. We set off mid-morning and cross Calanques National Park, passing by the stunning Route des Crêtes with breathtaking views of the cliffs overhanging the Mediterranean.
Our chef prepares breakfast which we enjoy as a group with magnificent views of Sainte Victoire mountain. After descending through the estate’s vineyards, we begin the day visiting the Château Grand-Boise cellars.
Today’s a track day! After washing down our bacon and eggs with a good coffee, we leave our glamping site and make our way to the Valensole plateau where we ride on farming tracks in the middle of lavender fields.
We set off early and begin our descent to Castellane between gravel and pastures on mountainous tracks at 1,400 m altitude right in the heart of Verdon Regional Park.
Between plains and peaks, we take on the difference in altitude along the Préalpes d'Azur Natural Park’s tracks between maritime pines and rock formations. We stop off at Saint-Paul-de-Vence, considered the fourth most beautiful town in Europe.
We wake up at the crack of dawn to embark on the most difficult day of our adventure. We ride 81 miles of stony tracks in the heart of Mercantour National Park, skirting the Valley of Wonders until we get back onto the Route of Forts.
We have breakfast at the hotel. This is where our services end.
