The diverse itinerary covers Unesco World Heritage listed temples, Chitwan National Park, and then Pokhara, with its mesmerising panoramic view of the Himalaya. This motorbike trip in Nepal, a moving and thought-provoking experience, will take you from village to village, through paddy fields, to connect with the incredibly cheerful and welcoming people of Nepal. D3 / Daman - Chitwan - 125 Km

Back on the westward road for a gorgeous stage. A change of scenery: you're now cruising on the plain, to the region of Terai, the "grain basket" of Nepal. In the afternoon, a walk in the jungle of Chitwan National Park, where the abundant flora and fauna contrast with the mountainous landscapes of the Himalaya.

D4 / Chitwan

In the morning, an elephant-back ride to soak up this luxuriant vegetation. In the afternoon, we'll venture into the hostile jungle, searching for Asian crocodiles; then board a boat on the Narayani River to observe them in their natural habitat.

D5 / Chitwan - Tansen - 175 Km

We leave the jungle and head for Tansen, in the mountains further west. We visit this little town, well away from mass tourism. After this long stage, its small quiet streets and surrounding countryside are pleasantly restful.

The riders' opinions

Greg
I would recommend Vintage Rides to any …

“I would recommend Vintage Rides to any rider contemplating a guided motorcycle tour. Right from my initial email with Denise, the professionalism and attention to detail was reassuring. Everything was organised for us and our tour guide Josh was fantastic from start to finish. The Royal Enfields were a lot of fun and suited the type of riding we did, the scenery was simply mind blowing and the tour was the best holiday and adventure ever. On top of all this, the value for money was excellent. I will be touring with Vintage Rides again. I did the Trans Himalayan in India.”

Vintage Rides - Simply the Best.

“Having joined two tours in India previously with Vintage Rides I have no hesitation in booking a third and recommending this company as experts in their field to anyone contemplating a guided tour on the sub continent or the far east. Vintage Rides is a French company and as expected many of the riders are French speakers but it is not a barrier. I speak English and have only a little of the French language but I have been welcomed by both the tour leaders and the other riders without any problems at all. Communication is not a problem in the brotherhood off the bikers. The tour leaders know their stuff and take you to places off the well beaten tourist track, always mindful of one's safety. The support team for mechanical issues that can occasionally arise with the robust Royal Enfield 500cc Bullet bikes and for transport of luggage and local knowledge remove any concerns, just sit back and enjoy the ride.”
